With this Apple integration, you can sync documents seamlessly between different Apple devices.  So make sure your devices are synced.

You should also have the attachment you are going to sign ready.  Do this by pasting it in your email.  Here's how: Locate the document and drag it from its location to email, or click the paperclip icon (used to attach files) in the Mail toolbar, or choose File > Attach Files from the menu bar. The first step in signing an attachment you are sending is to place it in your email.  You can do this in a few ways.

Drag and drop the document from its location into the email.

Click on Attach button (paper clip) in the Mail toolbar.

Select File > Attach Files from the menu bar.

Once the document is attached to your email, follow these steps to sign it on your iOS device.

Place your cursor over the attachment and you will see the action arrow appear in the upper right corner.

Click the Action arrow and select Markup.

When the document appears in the Markup window, click the button all the way to the right on the Annotate on iOS device toolbar.

If you have more than one device, select the one you want to use from the list.

The document should automatically appear in Markup on your iOS device, ready for your signature.

Tap the plus sign at the bottom and select Subscription.

Sign your name in the pop-upup window.  If you're not happy with that, tap Clear and sign again.

When you like the signature, tap Done to enter it.

You can drag the signature box to where you want it in the document.  When finished, tap Done.  This will close the markup window on your iOS device.
