Night mode turns on automatically when the camera detects a dimly lit environment. The Night Mode icon at the top of the display turns yellow when the feature is enabled. Depending on how dark the environment is, your iPhone may take a photo quickly in Night Mode, or it may take several seconds. You can also adjust the exposure setting.

For best results, hold your iPhone steady until the shot is complete. Place your iPhone on a firm and secure surface or use a tripod to increase stability and control over exposure.
