In all seriousness, after months of (truly unparalleled) leaks, Samsung’s 2017 flagship smartphones are here, and a lot has modified. Mostly for the better, however, the re’s also some stagnation and a few areas of possible regression.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S8 on March 29, 2017. As the brand's new flagship, the smartphone will surely pack a variety of exciting features, including an iris scanner for user recognition, a smart AI assistant, and a flashy new design to top it all off. No less importantly, the upgraded hardware will make the device faster than its predecessor, with a fast and efficient Snapdragon 835 in charge. Numerous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S8 will stick to the metal-and-glass design principle of its predecessors, paired with IP-certified resistance against the elements.
Along with the Galaxy S8, Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S8+ at its Unpacked event scheduled for March 29. While these two high-end phones are likely to be very similar on a hardware level, the S8+ will certainly stand out with its larger curved display and bigger battery capacity. That aside, the S8+ is bound to pack a variety of exciting features, including an iris scanner for user recognition and a smart AI assistant. Also, chances are that the phone will stick to the metal-and-glass design principle of its predecessors, paired with IP-certified resistance against the elements.

Conclusion
For me, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy S8 are two of the most visually beautiful smartphones ever made. The ir vision of an ‘all display’ fascia serves the future of smartphone design, and this will be sufficient to sell millions of units around the world.
