It has the latest AMD Ryzen processors and a beautiful HD OLED display, but its Radeon graphics don't perform as well as Intel's Iris Xe, and it makes some unfortunate trade-offs with its ports. The Zenbook Flip is both an ultraportable laptop and a 2-in-1 device because it is thin and light and has a convertible hinge that lets it open like a regular laptop and then fold back around to be used as a tablet. What you won't see on the chassis, but is still there, is Asus' Antibacterial Guard. This is a special coating on the outside of the laptop that is said to stop bacteria from growing on the surfaces that are touched often. With dimensions of 0.59 by 11.67 by 8.26 inches, this Zenbook is thinner than many of our favourite ultraportables, like the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14 Gen 7 (2022) and the HP Spectre x360 13.5 (2022), but it doesn't cut weight or features. Portability isn't just about size and weight, of course. Things like how long the battery lasts and how fast it charges are also important. (The Zenbook can charge to 60% of its capacity in less than an hour.) Between these two things, your Zenbook S 13 Flip [OLED](https://compsmag.com/best/oled-tvs/)should rarely run out of power. The Zenbook S 13 has a 13.3-inch diagonal OLED screen with a high resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. From my point of view, the picture quality is very good, with bright colours and clear details. Asus says that the screen can be as bright as 550 cd/m2, but this is only true for HDR content. Our measurements show that a small white image can have a maximum of about 570 cd/m2, but a nearly all-white image can only have about 460 cd/m2. Unfortunately, switching between HDR doesn't happen automatically. Instead, you have to turn it on in the Windows display settings. The Asus ZenBook 13 had some of the best battery life we've seen in an Ultrabook that didn't have an ARM chip.
