Step 1. First of all, go to the Windows 10 installation process normally and choose your language and Keyboard format and then click on Next to continue.
Step 2. Now click on Install Now so as to continue the installation process.
Step 3. Now, you’ll be asked for choosing the type of installation from the two options.
Step 4. Upgrade is used to upgrade your existing Windows 7 or 8 system to the new Windows 10 OS. System lets you install Windows 10 alongside an existing copy of Windows.
Step 5. Now click on Custom: Install Windows only (advanced) option.
Step 6. A new window displays that asks you the location where you want to install the new OS Windows 10.
Step 7. Now select drive 0 Partition 3 and right click New to create a new partition in the empty space.
Step 8. Now click Next to start the dual-boot installation process.
Step 9. Windows installing will successfully finish.
Step 10. Now you can now see a new boot menu at the startup that gives you two options to choose an OS.
Step 11. Now select Windows 10 to continue with the installation process.
Step 12. Now click on the “Choose Default OS or Choose other options” link on this screen to change the options.
Step 13. Now choose the Windows OS you want to boot by default and set the appearance of new OS.
Step 14. Now, you can use both versions of Windows Operating System (Windows 10 and Windows eight) on your device simultaneously.
