In addition to launching the new Mi Pad 4 Plus tablet with a 10-inch screen in China, Xiaomi also announced a new variant of the Mi 8 (first impression) smartphone, today. The new handset model comes with 8GB of RAM and a native 128GB fixed space. As a reminder, the Mi 8 was launched in May of 2022 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options. 256 GB. Interestingly, Xiaomi has rated the Mi 8 8GB RAM model at 3,299 RMB (about 33,000 Rs), which is identical to the 6GB RAM and 256GB variant of the phone. The handset is available for sale in China from today and is available in blue and black.

Speaking of its specifications, Xiaomi ships the Mi 8 in a metal glass unibody with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an iPhone-style notched screen. The handset boasts of an infrared face unlock, a 6.21-inch display with an 18.7: 9 image size and a Snapdragon 845 SoC system upstairs of range. For photography, the Mi 8 displays two 12-megapixel sensors on the rear panel with 4-axis OIS, dual-pixel autofocus, LED flash and some AI functions. For selfies, the Mi 8 gets a 20-megapixel shooter with an f / 2.0 aperture lens, portrait mode, and AI Beauty mode.

The smartphone runs Android MIUI 10 based on Oreo and is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ charging technology. Connectivity options include dual-band GPS (L1-L5), 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type-C.
