Tech News: Black Shark 3 gets higher AnTuTu score than iQOO 3, set to launch on March 3rd

Black Shark 3 is scheduled for launch on March 3 in China and is confirmed with Snapdragon 865 SoC and also has 5G connectivity. The handset is likely execute JOY UI custom skin with a focus on gaming. Now the Black Shark 3 has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark and scored a record of 620,952 points, which is the newest highest score on the platform, surpassing the AnTuTu score of iQOO 3 of 597,583. This may mean that the Black Shark 3 could be the most powerful Android phone ever. Previous reports suggested that the handset would pack a Quad HD + screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. A battery of 5,000 mAh with 65 W fast charging would fuel the phone.

Although not confirmed, the Black Shark 3 is expected to have a triple rear camera setup, presumably with a 48MP primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens and a telephoto lens sensor. Unfortunately, not much is known about the flagship gaming phone at the moment, but since the launch is only a few days from now, we don’t have to wait much longer.

For the Black Shark 3, the company launched the Black Shark 2 Pro, with a 6.39-inch AMOLED TrueView screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz; it supports a sampling frequency of the 240 Hz touch screen for a smoother gaming experience. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It contains 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. A 4000 mAh battery with 27 W support for fast charging powers the phone.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and A-GPS with GLONASS. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and starts Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of optics, the Black Shark 2 contains a 48MP primary sensor and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x lossless zoom. At the front there is one 20MP Snapper for selfies and video chats.

Although the Black Shark 2 Pro never reached India, the brand has launched the Snapdragon 855-powered Black Shark 2 in the country for a price of R,999. We expect the Black Shark 3 to be launched in India at a competitive price to handle the Realme X50 Pro and iQOO 3.
