The Huawei sub brand has introduced Honor View 30 Pro and Honor 9X Pro smartphones worldwide. The first is the same as the Honor V30 Pro that was launched in China in November of 2021. It comes with the Kirin 990 SoC with Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity. On the other hand, the Honor 9X Pro is powered by the Kirin 810 processor with up to 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage and has a 48MP primary rear camera. Both phones come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. This is in particular the first series of Honor phones to be launched without Google Play Services. Instead, they are sent with Huawei Mobile Services and Huawei AppGallery.

Honor View 30 Pro 5G price and specifications

Honor View 30 Pro 5G shows off a 6.57-inch full-HD + screen with IPS LCD screen, Resolution of 2,400 × 1,080 pixels and Screen ratio of 91.46 percent. The handset is powered by the Kirin 990 SoC with Btogether with 5,000 modem for 5G connectivity, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage. The telephone have a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side for security. Connectivity functions include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.

In terms of optics, the Honor View 30 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera that consists of a 40MP RYYB primary Sony IMX600 sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom and a 12MP wide-angle lens with 5-axis EIS Cine lens for video. The rear cameras support 4K HDR video recording, 5-axis electronic image stabilization, Laser Focus Sensor and ultra-low vision. The Honor View 30 Pro 5G contains dual selfie snappers with a 32MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. A 4,100 mAh battery with 40 W fast charging, 27 W wireless charging, 7.5 W wireless back charging supports the handset’s fuel.

The Honor View 30 Pro is available in the colors Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Icelandic Frost and Sunrise Orange. The handset will be on sale in Russia from March and the price has not yet been announced. As mentioned earlier, the Honor View 30 Pro comes with Huawei Mobile Services, an alternative to Google Play Service.

Honor 9X Pro specifications and price

Honor 9X Pro has a 6.59-inch Full HD + screen with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a curved 2.5D glass on top. It is powered by the Kirin 810 AI SoC in combination with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage which can be further expanded to 512 GB via microSD card. Just like the Honor View 30, the 9X Pro is also delivered worldwide with Huawei Mobile Services and Huawei AppGallery.

In terms of optics, the Honor 9X Pro has a triple camera arrangement at the rear, consisting of one 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens with LED flash. On the front it has a 16MP pop-up shooter for selfies and video chats. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face release for security. Include connectivity functions 4G VoLTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. The Honor 9X Pro houses a 4000 mAh battery with support for charging 10 W.

The Honor 9X price has been set at EUR 249 (around Rs 19,500) and will be available in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, KSA and Malaysia from March 2020. The phone is available in Midnight Black and Phantom Purple colors.
