Samsung East planned to launch the Galaxy Note9 (first impression) smartphone August 22 in India. Close on the heels the South Korean brand has announced a significant price cut on its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8 phablet launched last year. The price of smartphones has been reduced to 12,000 Rs, which means it now costs 55,900 rupees in the country, against 67,900 rupees at the start. The new Galaxy Note 8 price is effective on Amazon and Samsung, the official online store.
Speaking of specifications, the Galaxy Note 8 remains one of the best smartphones, thanks to its decorated technical data sheet. The handset features a 6.3 “Infinity Display-free” Quad HD + “display with slender bevels and an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9. It is powered by Exynos 8895 SoC, which is equivalent to Snapdragon 835, associated with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. For photography, the Galaxy Note 8 features a pair of 12 MP sensors at the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera sensor with automatic HDR function.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, which is expandable to Android Oreo via OTA update. In addition, Note 8 is powered by a 3300 mAh battery with a fast charging bracket and comes with the S Pen.
