Samsung launched its flagship product Galaxy Note9 smartphone earlier this month at the brand’s Unboxed event in New York. Soon after, the South Korean conglomerate revealed pricing in India and handset availability also. Today, the phablet is finally on sale in the country. During the launch, the company also announced launch offers for the smartphone.
To let you know, the Galaxy Note9 has been priced in India at Rs 67,900 for the basic variant of 6GB and Rs 84,900 for the high-end model with 8GB of RAM and 512 GB of integrated storage. If we talk about specs, the Galaxy Note9 contains a 6.4 inches Infinity QHD + Super AMOLED screen with curved sides and an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9. The Indian variant of the handset is powered by an Exynos 9810 processor coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The handset works Android 8.1 Oreo of the box and comes with an IP68 certification of resistance to water and dust.
Moving on to the optics, the Galaxy Note9 comes with a dual camera configuration, consisting of two 12 megapixel rear-facing sensors with a variable aperture lens. The main camera configuration supports OIS detection and scene detection. If we talk about the front camera, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel shooter with autofocus.
For added security, the Galaxy Note9 offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an Iris scanner and face unlock feature. In terms of connectivity, you have options such as 4G LTE, VOLTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and GPS with GLONASS. A 4000 mAh battery with fast, wireless support completes the list of specifications.
