Tesla From CEO Elon Musk to Model 3, Model 3 had difficulties. Recent evidence of production hell to logistics "nightmare" Delivery to customers has been delayed.
The place where Tesla shines is the crash safety test of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. And the Tesla 3 model is no exception. Please see the video below.
The rear wheel drive version of Tesla Model 3 received a 5-star safety rating from NHTSA. This is the highest rating that can be achieved from this institution. In these tests, frontal, side, and rollover accidents are covered. Model 3 won five stars in each category as well as sub-categories such as side rails and collisions.
Tesla's crash is supported by the absence of internal combustion engine. Because of equol without hood engine, there is room for front transformation zone. Tesla vehicles also tend to resist falls because the battery is located at the bottom of the vehicle and the center of gravity is low. According to NHTSA, the risk of rolling over the Tesla 3 model is 6.6%.
Tesla Model 3 is not the only way to get the highest rating. NHTSA has other cars of the 2018 model which are getting a 5 star rating, such as 4-door hybrid Subaru legacy and Toyota Camry. It should also be noted that, as Musk did on Thursday, the 5 star rating only means that the vehicle will reach a certain threshold. It shows how far the probability of injury statistics expected soon is.
