## How to Customize Your Location on LinkedIn - Guide

LinkedIn has become one of the most popular and familiar applications in recent times, it is an American application that the user can also access through the website.  This is a very useful app for job applicants and providers.  In this app, people look for jobs willingly, while others provide jobs through this app and companies provide jobs.  But, many people also want to change location after selecting job and other settings and are totally confused how to change location on LinkedIn.

## How to    Change your location on LinkedIn

Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn home page and select “View Profile” with a left click.

Click on the small pencil symbol / Edit icon on your Business Card highlighted in the image below.

No pop-up window that appears, scroll down to Country / Region, see highlighted below.

Start typing your country and LinkedIn will suggest more from a drop-down list that you can select with a left click.

If you want to leave at a country/region level without highlighting a more local landmark or city, you can click save and move on.

However, if you wish, you can add a city, district, post office or zip code, and LinkedIn will suggest locations within that zone that you can select with a left click.

You might want to be cautious at this stage as Americanized “Greater X” naming conventions have started to pop up in many of the UK's major cities, so you have options like Southampton, England, rather than the Great Southampton Area.

Then click on “Save” highlighted next to the arrow and your profile will update.
