## How to Disable OneDrive’s Check Mark Badge - Guide

The navigation area is the left pane in a Windows Explorer window (also known as This PC, File Manager, and My Computer).  The Navigation Panel contains a list of hard drives and other icons such as Quick Access, OneDrive, Network, etc.  The Navigation Panel is primarily used to quickly and easily navigate between drives, files and folders.

On newer versions of Windows 10, the navigation area also shows cloud status icons to let users know the status of their OneDrive files and folders when needed.  With on-demand file feature, you can access all your files stored in the cloud without having to download them.

## How to    Disable Check Mark Badge on OneDrive

To disable the availability status icon on the File Explorer navigation page, do the following:

Open File Explorer.

Click the View tab.

Click on Options button.

Under "Folder Options", click the View tab.

In the “Navigation panel”, uncheck Always show availability status.

Click Apply.

Click OK.

After completing the steps, the navigation page will no longer show the OneDrive status icon in folders.  However, you will still see availability status icons within the OneDrive folder.
