Steps to install Doomzday builds on Kodi

Please note that it may take 4-5 minutes to install Doomzday Kodi builds. The process is split into the following three parts for a better understanding:

Unknown resources is a security setting, which is disabled by default. This prevents malicious sources from installing malicious plug-ins on Kodi. However, that also stops the installation of secure third-party builds like DoomzDay builds. This can be easily arranged. Follow the following steps:

1- Go to the Kodi Settings

You can find the option on the home Screen. Just click the tooth icon that you see in the upper-left corner

2- Go to System if you use Kodi 18 Leia

If you have Kodi, click System Settings

3- Click the option Add-ons on the left menu sidebar

4- Click now Unknown sources and turn it on

5- When you are alerted, delete the following prompt by clicking Yes

Note: Turn off unknown resources again after installing the Doomzday Kodi build

Part 2: Install the DoomzDay Wizard

DoomzDay Wizard is a kodi utility that also hosts the building menu. To install DoomzDay builds, we need to install this wizard first. Here are the steps:

1- Click from the Kodi settings on File Manager

Settings can be accessed by clicking on the tooth icon on the home Screen

2- Now we will open the option Add source

3- In the ‘Enter the Paths…’ section, click

4- You now need to see a window with an onscreen keyboard. Type the following URL: https://doomzdayteam.github.io/doomzday

Note: This URL is case sensitive

Click Ok

5- Now name this media source you just added. I’m going with the standard Doomsday it fills automatically. But you change it to another name that you want to identify the source with

Click Ok

6- Go back to the Kodi settings by pressing the back button. Or go back to the home screen and click Settings again.

Open Add-ons

Note: If you’re using Kodi, click Add-ins on the home screen followed by the open-box icon

7- Choose Install from zip file

8- Now open the source name you typed earlier. For me, it was Doomsday

9- You must now see the zip file for the Doomzday repository (repoository.doomzday-x.x.x.zip). Click on it

10- Wait for this notification

11- Click Install from repository

12- Click Doomzday Repo

13. Click Program add-ins

14- Open Doomzday Wizard

15- Click Install

16- Click Ok

17- Wait for this notification

18- Click Continue when it appears promptly

19- You choose to click Build menu When this dialogue box appears and choose to install the construction of your choice.

You also click on Ignore, and move on to the next part

Part 3: Install Doomzday Kodi Builds

1- Go to the home Kodi screen again and click Add-ons

Select Program add-ins Following

Click now Doomzday Build Wizard

2- Click Builds

3- Here’s the menu builds. Kodi 18 builds are lined up First. Click on one of the builds to continue. I have chosen Easy Rider for this purpose guide. However, if this build is not available or has been removed, you can choose another build from the list.

Scroll down for Kodi builds if you’re still using the old version

4- I always go with the Fresh installation. It wipes Kodi clean before installing the build.

If you want, you choose Standard Install instead

5- If you have chosen fresh install, you will see this prompt. Click Continue

6- The build is now downloaded first on your device and then installed. This process usually takes 2-3 minutes

7- When installation is complete, you’ll be asked to choose Reload profile or Force Close

Click Force close

Kodi will close now. You restart Kodi to use the build.
