How to Install Streamline Build on Kodi Leia & FireStick Tutorial and Steps

This tutorial will provide detailed instructions to install Streamline build on Kodi Leia. The instructions work on FireStick, Android TVs, Android Boxes, Android Mobiles, Mac & Windows, and all other software/hardware platforms compatible with Kodi.

Streamline is a welcome addition to our list of best builds for Kodi 18 Leia. As I write this guide, Kodi 18 is fairly new and as far as builds are concerned, we don’t have many options. Plenty of Krypton addons offer forward compatibility and work flawlessly on Leia. But, unfortunately, that’s not the case with the builds. Even the builds that were re-encoded for Leia before the official release behaved erratically. But not Streamline.

Streamlined Kodi 18 build, downloaded from the Whiz Kid Wizard, runs smoothly. It is a lightweight build and therefore works quickly on low-spec devices. It is great for FireStick and other Fire TV devices (also Android TV boxes).

Streamline also comes with a significant collection of addons. With video addons like The Magic Dragon, SportsDevil, you can stream movies, shows, live TV, sports and what’s already not. This build is easy to use and quick to install. It is now part of our Best Kodi Builds.

How to Install Streamline Build on Kodi

The installation of the Streamline Kodi build will be a three-part process as follows:

• Part 1: Enable Unknown Sources
• Part 2: Install Whiz Kid Wizard
• Part 3: Install Streamline Build from the wizard

I’ll treat each part separately. Let’s go now.

Enable unknown resources

This is not exactly the part of the installation process, but an important condition. Without it, you don’t install a third party build on Kodi. So, let’s take care of it. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Start Kodi and while you are on the homescreen open Settings Upper left icon

Step 2: Now open System when the next set of options appears (if you have Kodi, click System Settings)

Step 3: Select the option Add-ons to the left of the next window. Now navigate to the right part and click Unknown sources to turn it on (when it’s off)

Step 4: When alerted, click Yes to ignore the warning message. Streamline Kodi build is safe

So you’ve prepared kodi to install the Streamline build.

Install Whiz Kid Wizard

Kodi Wizards are tools that often double as a library of builds. Whiz Kid Wizard is the one who hosts the Streamline Kodi 18 build. Here are the steps to install this wizard:

Step 1: Access to the Kodi Settings weather of the homescreen

Step 2: Click this time File Manager of the next set of items

Step 3: Go ahead and click Add source Following

Step 4: Click on the next window that appears up

Step 5: Use the keypad on the screen and enter the following path into the appropriate space: http://whizkid.one/wizard

Make sure you enter the path correctly.

Click Ok to continue

Step 6: Type a name in this window for the path you added above. It can be any name you want to identify this source with.

I call it Expert

Re-check and click everything Ok

Step 7: You now want to go back to the Kodi homescreen. Press the back button several times until you get there.

Click Add-ons

Step 8: Open the Package installer icon that you find in the upper-left corner of the next window. You should be looking for the open-box icon

Step 9: Open Install from zip file Following

Step 10: Go ahead and click Expert or the source/path name you previously entered in step 6

Step 11: Open the zip file plugin.program.Whiz-Kid-Installer.zip

Step 12: Wait until the Whiz Kid Wizard Add-on installed notification appears in the upper-left corner of the screen.

Note: It may take a few minutes for this wizard to be installed, and the progress of the installation will not appear on the screen. So, be patient and wait for the notification.

Step 13: Shortly after the wizard is installed, the following pop-up Appears. Click Dismiss

Step 14: There is another popup. Click Continue (Select the settings you want to change before you click Continue)

Step 15: This is the last popup. Click Build Menu, and then go to the list of builds. I click Ignore Because I’ll tell you how to access to the building menu from the homeKodi screen

Install Streamline Build from the Whiz Kid Wizard

This is the final part of the process. To install the build, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go back to the Kodi homescreen. Now go to Add-ins > Program Add-ins

Open Whiz Kid Wizard

Step 2: Click Builds

Step 3: Go ahead and click Streamline under Leia Builds (click Fully Load under Krypton builds if you’re using Kodi Krypton)

Step 4: Choose Fresh installation

Note: You also choose Standard Install, but it is best to install the build after resetting Kodi. That’s exactly what Fresh Install will do

Step 5: Click Continue when the next confirmation splash is displayed

Step 6: Now all you have to do is wait while the Streamline Kodi Leia build is downloaded and installed on your device.

This may take a few minutes, depending on the internet speed and specifications of the device

Step 7: When the installation is ready, you may be asked to click Ok to close Kodi. However, sometimes Kodi closes automatically without displaying the prompt.

Just relaunch Kodi to access the build.
