You’ll see your regular chat screen, except, woah, there’s now four new choices: to send a photo from your real camera roll, to call someone, to send a video message, or to send them cartoon stickers.
Step to use Snapchat’s new video and voice calling
Step 1. First of all, Once you’ve got updated Snapchat, open your contacts list and swipe right to the person with that you want to call.
Step 2. In video-chat, just touch the video camera icon, and Your call will immediately go out, and as well as your friend has Chat 2.0 installed, they’ll also receive a call notification, they answer your call, and you can start chatting.
Step 3. You’ll get the option to ignore, join and watch it.
Step 4. Now, you can also use Snapchat if you want to have a normal phone call with your friends. Simply tap the phone icon once you’ve opened the chat option. As with video chat, your friend will get a notification telling them they’re receiving a call. After they reply, you’ll be connected.
Step 5. You can also use the green icon when the call to toggle your smart phone’s microphone. Or when you receive a call, you will also choose to either join, ignore, or listen to it.
Step 6. They’ve also added the option to send stickers to your friends. Only press the smiley face next to the video camera, and you can select from a variety of stickers which can convey what you’re trying to say.
Step 7. That’s it! Now you’re done.
