The very first thing you discover about the Skullcandy Indy earbuds is their design, and as I mentioned, they seem like Apple’s AirPods thanks to the arm that extends underneath your ears. We don’t mostly hate the look, though many individuals need it. On each earbud, you can find the Skullcandy brand and a small LED gentle on prime to point out the standing, however in any other case, there may be not a lot to say about it.

The face of every earphone is touch-sensitive, which is helpful information โ€“ it implies that it’s tremendous straightforward to management playback and quantity so long as you learn the right gestures. The charging case is also expertly designed. The housing is straightforward and, besides, matte black finish, with three LED indicators on the entrance that point out the charging.

At the underside of the charging case is a MicroUSB port, which was a bit disappointing to see โ€“ we’d have preferred to see USB-C right here. Overall, we preferred the feel and appearance of the Skullcandy Indy earbuds. The y are usually not for individuals who don’t just like the aesthetics of AirPod; however, for individuals who don’t bother, they give the impression of being reasonably good.

Comfort

The Skullcandy Indy earbuds are reasonably comfy, which we appreciated. In basic, we have been ready to put on the headphones for a couple of hours earlier than they approached nearly uncomfortably. Given the truth that they solely have a battery life of 4 hours, it’s unlikely that you can be annoyed by their degree of consolation. The headphones will stay in your ears comfortably. The y include three different earplugs, so it’s worth experimenting to discover the earplugs that most fit your ears perfectly. However, as soon as you probably did, we found that the headphones stay in your ears perfectly, even while doing any exercise.

Skullcandy Indy Review Sound

So the Skullcandy Indy true wireless headphones are reasonably designed and comfy โ€“ however, what do they sound like? Well, fortunately, they don’t sound bad in any respect for the value. The headphones can be described as bass-forward, so in the event you like an in-depth bass response, it is likely to be price contemplating. On the top, we predict the earbuds have been a bit heavy on the bass โ€“ as a result of it overshadowed different elements of the frequency vary, however, some will admire the heavy kick drums and easy bass guitars.

The mids are a bit bragged. The re is a little bit of low-mid response, passing from the low-end, and the highs are usually not very pronounced. The high-ends are a bit weak. The re is not a lot of readability, and though the re’s a high-end response, it’s considerably overshadowed by the low finish. Despite the disadvantages, the frequency response is just not unhealthy for the value, particularly for individuals who like a heavier bass response and don’t actually care about the remaining. Of course, audiophiles will most likely need to keep clear; however, most individuals won’t feel the sound issues.

Performance

Skullcandy Indy Review

The Skullcandy Indy true wireless headphones join your listening gadget through Bluetooth 5.0, and we’ve got discovered that these have usually maintained a reasonably good connection. We did not often experience skips or lags throughout playback, and they typically have been solely at unreasonable distances or with many obstacles. The battery lifetime of the headphones around 4 hours on a single charge, which is okay, but not the best. Fortunately, the charging case delivers three further charging cycles, so that you get complete of 16 hours of playback time.

Skullcandy Indy Review Conclusion

The Skullcandy Indy true wireless earbuds look relatively good and are comparatively comfy. Though they stumble a bit on the sound division, they’re a reliable choice for individuals who prefer the AirPods like design. But are they the most effective within their price category? Well, there are many expensive options,ย  but they don’t seem to be mostly at this price category. If you can pay more, the JLab Audio Epic Air Elite headphones are ab excellent option. But when $80 is your budget range, then these are likely to be the earbuds to go for.
