The co-founder of Facebook and Instagram's photo sharing application will resign and the New York Times reported that it is planning to resign the company within the coming weeks.
Mr. Mike Krieger, general manager of Instagram and Kevin Systrom, announced their decision to Instagram and Facebook officers on Monday and received a report from Times. The reason for their departure was not immediately understood.
Sistom confirmed his resignation on the company's blog late late that day and said "for the next chapter."
"We are going to take time to explore curiosity and creativity again," Systrom writes. "In order to create new things, we need to get back to understand what inspires us and what the world needs.
The criticism that the US intelligence agency is judging that the Russian government has disguised news and advertisements using these platforms and criticism that the social media platform has not taken enough measures to manage the contents is growing I resigned.
