LeEco Le Max 2

LeEco is a Chinese technology player that needs to integrate and content. And it’s not only seeing at smartphones or TV sets. In April, LeEco revealed off the concept vehicle LeSee, its electrical Supercar, which can be driverless and part of its bigger ecosystem. LeEco Le Max 2 is the company’s flagship for 2016 and makes on what we have noticed with the Le Max. That screen is a more manageable 5.7 inches, and the 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 assures that you won’t view any slowdowns in day-by-day utilization.

Design

LeEco Le Max 2

While it comes to design, the phone looks and feels like a slab of metal. The only real concessions to its design and ergonomics are very chamfered edges. However, the front surface of the phone, whereas chamfered, it has sharp edges owing to the imperfect fit of the front glass panel in the effectively of the body. If you like giant camera bumps, however, you won’t remember the LeEco Le Max 2 in the least. The cover is host to a 5.7-inch QHD display (2560×1440), camera unit, earpiece speaker and light sensor.

Display

LeEco Le Max 2

The Le Max2 comes with 5.7-inch IPS LCD with QHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels). The 2K display makes the difference when you are watching any high-resolution videos or enjoying graphic-intensive games on the smartphone. I am not into streaming 1080p or higher resolution videos on YouTube, however, should you load some high-resolution videos on the device, you’ll notice the difference in high quality between a full HD and 2K display.

Software

LeEco Le Max 2

The Le Max2 works on a custom eUI 5.6 that based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. eUI is a highly customized OS and has not changed much from those on the earlier smartphones alike the LeEco Le 1s. eUI is far from what you’ll be able to call a near-stock Android-like experience.

Hardware and Performance

LeEco Le Max 2

When it comes to, LeEco Le Max 2 is simply a beast. In fact, our review unit is a lower-end model, which sports Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of non-expandable storage. If you even better specs, you can choose in for a 64GB model, which has whopping 6GB of RAM.

While it comes to gaming, you can rest ensured that every game will simply fly. Also, the graphics seemed helpful in every game I tested, and the phone didn’t heat up to uncomfortable levels. One other solace is that it comes with Fast Charge 2.0 for quick charging, however, nonetheless you will want to carry the USB Type-C cable or a portable charger all the time.

Camera

LeEco Le Max 2

The high camera quality is underwhelming in low light conditions although. You can spot noise in the images, and the camera tends to struggle to focus in such conditions. That said, the excellent camera quality looks superb for its price point. For selfie fans, the 8-megapixel front camera on the Le Max2 doesn’t disappoint. That comes with a beauty mode, whichever can be custom-made as effectively, to take perfect selfies.

Battery Life

LeEco Le Max 2

The battery life on the LeEco Le Max 2 is surprisingly decent regarding the phone has a 3,100mAh battery. I was capable of making the battery last a day or more on average, with its average utilization including at least two hours of shopping, an hour on social media, less hours streaming podcasts and music, and a fewer YouTube movies over the course of the day. The phone presents Fast Charge 2.0 tech, which whereas isn’t the quickest way to charge your phone does allow you to top up quickly should you need to during the day.

Connectivity Options

Conclusion

LeEco Le Max 2

Therefore, there you have it, LeEco Le Max 2. The phone prices less than $400, and it has a lot to offer for the price.

All of it starts with a lovely all-metal design and good build high quality, very sharp display, flagship-grade specs, stellar efficiency and excellent cameras.

Overall, LeEco Le Max 2 is a fantastic phone. Yes, it has a few shortcomings however they’re far from a deal breaker. In fact, LeEco Le Max 2 is a device that can be extremely recommended for those who search for a phablet with bleeding-edge specs, stunning looks, good cameras and excellent performance for a price to beat.
