Xiaomi next Mi Mix 3 did the towers interwebs lately. It is expected that the Chinese manufacturer will announce the successor of Mi Mix 2S September 15 We have already seen the official teaser of the so-called Mi Mix 3 which reveal that it will come without chins this time. Now, some images of the handset have surfaced on the Chinese social networking site, Weibo, which further justify its design.
As seen in the images, the handset is likely to present an edge-to-edge display. For those who do not know, Xiaomi usually gives Mi Mix smartphones a chin to host the selfie camera. As the images do not reveal the Mi Mix 3 front, we can not confirm the presence of the selfie retractable camera at the top. Continuing, the phone is likely to have a speaker grille and a Type-C USB port on the bottom edge. From the back, the Mi Mix 3 looks similar to its predecessor with dual cameras, the only noticeable difference. In addition, the missing fingerprint sensor on the back panel indicates the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the device.
Unfortunately, the leak did not disclose any other information about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 on the specification front. However, rumors and past leaks suggest that the smartphone will display an AMOLED display with a 2K resolution close to the scope. The handset is designed to tilt the Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood, combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other features expected include a 20-megapixel selfie camera and support for Qi wireless charging.
