We are now exactly one week before the release of one of the most popular new smartphones of the year, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9. Note 9 is not just one of the most popular phones of the year. Smartphones that have already been manufactured. It has a fantastic design and a superb Super AMOLED display that surpasses anything on the market, and it is brimming with power and offers the best battery life ever seen on an Android phone. That’s really the total package – and even…
As we covered in our Galaxy Note 9 reviews Earlier this week, it’s hard to get excited about Note 9 because it’s suffering from the same problem as this year’s Galaxy S9. It’s a great phone, but it’s a spitting image of the model from last year and it does not contain convincing new features that can spark interest. That’s why the Galaxy S9 is getting ready to be the Galaxy S phone the least sold since 2012. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from Samsung is not as bad as the S9, because it has a new S Pen and a much larger battery than the Note 8, but it has a trigger button wireless and a few extra hours. a top-seller? It probably does not bode well for Google search traffic in the US for “Galaxy Note 9” did not even climb as high as Apple’s iPhone X in the days surrounding Samsung’s big event.
Note 9 is just not fresh and new. It’s not inspired. Rumor has it that Samsung is working on several exciting new flagship phones that will be launched next year. And the best news for Android fans is that they will not even have to wait that long for a truly new and exciting Android product. Why? Because Google Pixel 3 XL is a complete redesign of Pixel’s range of Google phones, and the latest leak suggests that we are very close to seeing the launch of the phone.
Pixel phones from Google are not best sellers, but they certainly manage to seduce Android fans every year. Of course, it’s easy to understand why because they encompass the best of all that Android has to offer. Pixel phones offer a “pure” Android without additional whistles from vendors like Samsung and LG, and they get new versions of Android as soon as they come out. Finally, they offer an excellent Android experience on top quality hardware. Google Pixelbook is the best material the company has ever made but his phones are not far behind.
If there’s ever been a problem with Pixel’s series of Google phones, it’s that their designs have been a little outdated. 2016 Pixel and Pixel XL were carbon copies of the Apple iPhone 6 from 2014. Last year, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL still had huge bezels around the screen while all the others leading smartphone manufacturers were moving towards “all-screen” designs.
In 2018, Google will be as close as ever to the release of a modern design phone. The Pixel 3 XL will feature a notch at the top of the screen like all the other copycats of the iPhone X. Good, almost just like them … Google’s notch is actually a lot, much bigger. The “chin” bezel under the phone screen is also much larger. But hey, at least they try!
We have seen the leak of the Pixel 3 XL a few times different, so we know exactly what to expect when the phone is finally launched. And speaking of launch, the first picture of a 3 XL pixel used by someone who is testing the phone was just posted in a tweet by the smartphone blog MobileSyrup. Here is the tweet:
A @MobileSyrup reader spotted this possible Pixel 3 XL photo in the wild on the streetcar in Toronto, Ontario today. Our team thinks the photo is legitimate, especially given the big notch and substantial chin. Do you think this is a photo of the Pixel 3 XL? pic.twitter.com/nPTGHmIVUO

A quick look at the top of this mysterious phone reveals a massive notch that leaves room for a speaker and two oversized camera lenses. Yeah, it’s the Pixel 3 XL, agree. Note that the bezel at the bottom of the phone seems particularly massive in this picture, but it is not so big. A little more than half of this space is actually a screen, as you can see in this picture of an earlier leak.
Google is expected to release Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in early mid-October.
