The Swedish eyewear supplier Tobii Pro is deploying a new web product called Tobii Pro Sprint, which helps UX designers and developers to understand how consumers navigate the digital space. Ecommerce sites for executives can use this to reduce the number of steps required for payment processing.

In order to use Tobii Pro Sprint, the designer set up the test using the Tobii eye gaze tracking tool that first connects to the computer. As the test participants move to the designer's site, the designer can record the movements of the participants' eyes using Tobii Pro Sprint and share the results. Others can record later and observe participant eye movements in real time via the virtual room. The real-time observer can communicate with the test moderator via the chat function.
Recordings indicate where the user's line of sight is falling, potentially revealing which design elements are attracting attention, ignoring which elements confuse them.
