A patent filed in December reveals a method that allows Apple customers to customize iMessages as a correction method. The change history would also be available so that everyone can see what the sender originally wrote.
The patent application contains an example that illustrates Apple’s system for editing texts already sent. Two people discuss a trip, and one of them accidentally writes and sends, “May I be ridiculous with you?”
Suggestion For You:
Then they hold down this text to display a window with ‘Edit’ as an option. They make the change, so the text reads, “Can I come with you?”
It’s a great feature and I hope Apple will add it to iOS. Memojis and animojis are nice, but Messages needs such features that are very useful for people.
