Cynthia Hogan has been Apple’s vice president of government policy and affairs since 2016. Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has announced that she will join their team as an advisor (through WSJ).
The search for a running partner
Mr. Biden is looking for a group of experts to help him find a running mate in his candidacy for President. It will be led by several political allies, as well as Ms. Hogan, who was an advisor to Mr Biden’s White House and Senate before traveling to Apple. These advisers work with members of the Democratic Party and networks of experienced monitoring teams.

I need someone who, as Barack said, will be ‘simpatico with me’, who is a real current partner and ready to be president at any time. There are many women who have the experience to do this work.
Biden says he wants to elect a woman as vice president, and the decision is expected to be announced in July. Possibilities include former presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar.
