Apple has released a sneak peek at some of its most powerful software improvements for individuals with impairments

Later this year, software will be updated on all Apple operating systems, allowing people with limb differences to use AssistiveTouch to navigate their Apple Watch. The iPad supports third-party line-of-sight tracking hardware for ease of control. And in the visually impaired and visually impaired community, Apple’s industry-leading VoiceOver screen readers get smarter by using intelligence on their devices to explore objects in images. To support neurodiversity, Apple is introducing new background sounds that help minimize distractions. For the hearing impaired and hearing impaired, Made for iPhone (MFi) will soon support new bidirectional hearing aids.

Cupertino, California Apple today announced powerful software features designed for people with movement, visual, hearing, and cognitive disabilities. These next-generation technologies demonstrate Apple’s belief that accessibility is a human right and advance the company’s long history of providing industry-leading features that allow Apple products to be customized for all users. I will.

Apple will also launch a new service called SignTime on Thursday, May 20th. This allows customers to communicate with Apple Care and Retail Customer Care in a web browser using American Sign Language (ASL) in the United States, British Sign Language (BSL) in the United Kingdom, or French Sign Language (LSF) in France. Customers accessing Apple Store locations can use SignTime to remotely access a sign language interpreter without prior reservation. SignTime was initially launched in the US, UK and France and will be expanded to other countries in the future. For more information, please visit: apple.com/contact..
Sara Herringer, Senior Director of Apple’s Global Accessibility Policy and Initiative, said: “These new features push the boundaries of innovation with next-generation technologies that bring the fun and capabilities of Apple technology to more people. We can’t wait to share it with our users.”
