Apple Pay Express Transit Arrives in 273 More Chinese Cities

Apple Pay’s Express Transit feature can now be used in 275 cities in China. This is due to a collaboration between Apple and the national transport ticket provider T-Union (via Macrumors).

Express transportation is now available in almost all of the country in China

The service was previously only available in Beijing and Shanghai, where it was integrated with existing local transport maps. It allows users to place and pass their iPhone in front of a turnstile without having to unlock the device. It also works with Apple Watch.

I used the facility in London. This really reduces the time it takes to get in and out of public transport – more hassle for queues than other ways FaceID recognizes you!
