Many Apple observers think there is reason to be positive after the company’s latest earnings announcement. Cult of Mac’s Ed Hardy described his five reasons for being happy.
A significant portion of the increase in operating income comes from the growth of services such as the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade and others. “Our years of investment in our service strategy work,” said CEO Tim Cook. “This business is growing and reflects our sustainable, large and growing installed base.” The company has not explained how its new video and game services are doing thanks to the general increase in revenues.
