Jack Greenhalgh turned in a large sum of money which came out of the ATM machine he was playing with. Source: GoFundMe According to the Manchester Evening News, £400 ($A715) came out of the machine, but Jack didn’t pocket it for himself.
“Jack handed in £400 that a cash machine spat out, he honestly handed it in to Asda. Who gave him a £10 voucher,” the GoFundMe said. “Let’s see if we can do better than that for him.” However, people were so impressed with Jack’s honesty, a GoFundMe was set up to give back to Jack.
The supermarket, Asda, gave Jack a £10 ($A17) voucher for doing the right thing. Jack admitted he would never take such a large sum of money, saying doing so would be “wrong”.
