CYTRACOM, a leading provider of cloud-based communication solutions for managed service providers (MSPs), has introduced new network security capabilities for MSPs. These new features are designed to improve the efficiency of MSPs and prevent end users from bypassing security controls.
The latest version of ControlOne, CYTRACOM’s platform, allows MSPs to prevent managed clients from circumventing security requirements and create a password-free experience for end users. With this update, CYTRACOM removes the end user from the process of joining or connecting to corporate network infrastructures. This is achieved through identity management that does not require interaction with an end user.
Once deployed, end users are always on the virtual corporate network and protected by unified global security policies. The new ControlOne agent also enables a password-free experience for users. This means that unlike VPN software and other security solutions, there is no need for end-user interaction during setup.
According to Eric Romano, ControlOne Development Manager at CYTRACOM: “ControlOne is always on and allows users to work without having to learn location-specific processes like they were forced to do with legacy VPN solutions.”
By removing the complexity of connecting and protecting users without compromising performance and security, CYTRACOM’s ControlOne platform enables MSPs to meet the challenges of today’s distributed workforce while alleviating increasing pressure from regulatory and compliance entities. This can drive increased revenue for partners.
The combination of silent deployment and passwordless experience ensures that MSPs comply with regulations set by cyber insurance providers and other regulatory bodies. It also allows MSPs to regain control over their customers’ networks by eliminating vulnerabilities introduced by legacy VPN and on-premises firewalls.
“In today’s hybrid work environments, we know not everyone works inside an office building,” says John Tippett, Director of Operations at CYTRACOM. “But with CYTRACOM’s ControlOne platform, MSPs can securely connect and protect users as if they were inside the perimeter from your corporate network at all times.”
According to sources close to the news, these new security features are a demonstration of CYTRACOM’s commitment to driving innovation within the network security market for MSPs. By working closely with MSPs, CYTRACOM is making it easier for them to provide secure and compliant solutions to their clients while increasing revenue.
