India’s outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) almost halved to USD 3.39 billion in April on a yearly basis, according to data released by the RBI on Monday. The OFDI remained at USD 6.71 billion in April 2021. On consecutive basis as well, the outward investment from India in April was lower contrasted with USD 3.44 billion in March 2022. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) further said the data is temporary and subject to change based on online reporting by banks.
