“It’s a lot of work. It’s a lot of hours. It’s a beautiful night tonight which is a great night for selling trees,” said Steve Alfieri, the company’s president. “The next couple of nights might not be so fun, but hey, it’s Christmas, so a little bit of snow is what you have to deal with.“
As the pandemic drags on, neighborhood volunteer local groups of fire-fighters are suffering. They can’t have enormous pledge drives, they’re battling to search individuals, and their resources are be depleted by constant calls for Coronavirus patients. But they’re actually finding ways of fund-raising and help their communities. The Wesleyville Hose Company is hosting its yearly Christmas tree deal this year, fund-raising for a department that is attempted to react to calls, since it needs more cash and volunteers. Despite the challenges of the last 20 months, the department president says his team will make it through, and he’s thrilled to see community members buy trees and support the department.
