News Highlights: COVID-19 concerns postponing PC Georgetown game

Providence College’s Big East match schedule with Georgetown on Saturday has been postponed.

PC released a statement this morning announcing that due to COVID-related issues in the men’s basketball program in Georgetown, the Providence vs. Georgetown, scheduled for Saturday at noon in Providence at Alumni Hall, has been postponed.

This is the fourth postponement of the competition for the Friars due to the coronavirus pandemic. Previous matchups that have been postponed include matches against Xavier, Connecticut and DePaul.

The next game of Providence is scheduled for Wednesday evening in Creighton.
