The Google Pixel Buds A-series arrive as the first TWS earphone from Google in the country and were launched in the United States in June this year. The Pixel Buds A-series come as an affordable version of the original Pixel Buds TWS earbuds that Google launched last year. The Google Pixel Buds A-series has been priced at Rs 9,999 in India. It is not known as to when the earbuds will start shipping to customers or if the earbuds are available in both colours that they were initially launched in.
Google has officially revealed the Google Pixel Buds A-series, their newest True Wireless (TWS) Earphones in India. The Pixel Buds A-series are equipped with the same 12mm drivers as the conventional Pixel Buds. The A-series, like its older sister, is said to provide up to 24 hours of total battery backup including the charging case. However, there are several places where Google has attempted to save money. The Pixel Buds A-series, for example, lack wireless charging, support for swiping controls to modify volume levels, and the absence of the Attention Alerts function, which reduced loudness when users were required to listen to noises in their surroundings.

Other specifications of the new TWS earphones from Google include IPX4-rated sweat and water resistance, passive noise reduction. The earbuds also use beamforming microphones to let users focus on voice during calls by reducing outside noise. Additionally, users can use microphones to call Google Assistant by just saying “Hey, Google.” All of this is similar to the standard Google Pixel Buds that were launched last year. The earbuds also include features like real-time translation in more than 40 languages when using with a Pixel smartphone or a device running on Android 6.0 or later.
In terms of connectivity, the Pixel Buds A-series deliver have Bluetooth 5.0. The earphones deliver up to 24 hours of combined battery life and the ability to quickly charge the earbuds for up to 3 hours of usage in just 15 minutes.
