Flex player Peirce “Gunless” Hillman announced on his Twitch stream on Monday that he had landed by the Chicago Huntsmen. Chicago, which ranks second in the 12-team Call of Duty League, will replace Gunless with Jordan “General” General, according to multiple media reports.
Earlier Monday, General scored with the hunters to replace Gunless. Gunless, a 22-year-old Canadian, said online, “I didn’t even know I was on the couch until today. Nobody wanted to say a word to me. Isn’t that sad. The only reason I heard everything happened was (squeaky ) from literally other people.
“None of my teammates wanted to say a word about what happened to me. … None of them had the guts to … send a text message.” Later Monday, Jordan “JKap” Kaplan tweeted that he and Gunless were part of a group of five COD players available to crimp against other squads. JKap was benched on Monday by OpTic Gaming Los Angeles in favor of Martin “Chino” Chino.
Jkap said: “If there are any teams out there who want to shrink @Enable @Gunless @Trei @SaintsNato against me in the coming days, save one of us. Team Pine is trying to get our reruns and will go hard” Ian “Activate Wyatt is a sub Seattle Surge, Trei “Zer0” Morris is a backup of New York Subliners and Renato “Saints” Forza is a spare Los Angeles Guerrillas.
The Huntsmen are next scheduled to play in week 8, May 22-24, and open with a matchup against sixth place Paris Legion. Chicago last lost April 12 in the semifinal of week 5.
