Homeowner has 3rd degree burns from mobile home fire

HARRISON, Tenn. (WDEF) – A homeowner in Harrison is in hospital after suffering third-degree burns when their home caught fire this morning.

According to officials, the fire started around 4 a.m. on Ramseytown Road on Sunday morning.

Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department arrived on site and found that the mobile home was fully engaged.

The homeowner was the only one injured in the fire.

Hamilton County Emergency Management says he has sustained more than 50 percent of his body third-degree burns.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene.
