Per Gematsu, Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures is 3D platform adventure game that will be headed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC this October. Scary-Tale Adventures will take the player through a “fairy tale journey”, reimagining stories such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Emperor’s New Clothes.
While Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is coming out this July, publisher Outright Games and developer Drakhar Studio have announced that the film series will be getting a video game to go along with it, just in time for Halloween.
“We are so happy to be returning to Hotel Transylvania for another scary-fun adventure this Halloween season,” according to Outright Games CEO Terry Malham. “We are delighted to be able to incorporate our own unique story into this incredible world and retell classic fairy tales using the franchise’s eccentric characters. We will have a lot more to reveal about this game in the coming months so please stay tuned.”
Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is set for release July 23, and features the voices of Brian Hull (replacing Adam Sandler), Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kathryn Hahnm, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Asher Blinkoff, Brad Abrell, Fran Drescher, Jim Gaffigan and Molly Shannon.
