HPE storage with EPYC processors changes the way we work with data

Sensata Technologies Reports First Quarter 2021 Financial Results

The HPE Alletra 6000 system promises a change in the way we work with data, as it allows IT departments to move from owning and maintaining a data infrastructure to accessing and using data on demand and as a “service”. The new solution has the following advantages:

AMD EPYC processors are at the heart of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) new offering, the Alletra 6000 storage system. It is a cloud storage infrastructure solution that supports important business applications. HPE Alletra 6000 uses EPYC 7002 series processors, which have 8 to 64 high-performance cores. In addition, the storage system supports a PCIe 4 interface with increased bandwidth to provide up to 3 times higher performance than previous HPE Nimble Storage solutions based on flash memory only.
