Kisan Sabha App launched to connect farmers to supply chain

The Kisan Sabha app, developed by the CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi to connect farmers to the supply chain and freight transportation management system, was launched remotely today by DG, ICAR and Secretary DARE, dr. Trilochan Mohapatra. Dr. Mohapatra complimented CSIR on developing this portal as a one-stop solution for farmers, carriers and other entities involved in the agricultural industry and offered that ICAR can work with CSIR and the Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK) – can use networks for implementation.
