Linamar Showcases Fully Electric Technology Demonstration at ACT Expo

Linamar, a worldwide leader in manufacturing solutions, has announced the completion of a major electrified mobility R&D project: a fully operational BEV full-size pickup truck showcasing the technologies of Linamar electrified vehicles. The technology demonstrator is based on a 2500 pickup platform and is currently being displayed at the 2023 Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Anaheim, California. Visitors to the event can take a test drive and experience firsthand Linamar’s innovative solutions that can help them electrify their next EV project (source).

The eAxles combined create a 4WD capability that delivers more than 15,200 Nm of peak torque and 750 kW of peak power. The vehicle is also equipped with the eBrickTM Battery Pack, which is designed by eMatrix Custom Battery Systems, a company where Linamar holds a minority strategic stake. These innovations and many more make up the full eLIN product portfolio, which is available for OEM integration into new EV platforms.
