Maybe one side of the cube has a robotic arm that needs a joint, and another side has a crane arm that happens to have a joint. Or, one side has the front of a truck, and another side has the back of a toy truck. Throughout the game, you’ll be lining up multiple objects to solve the puzzles. Optillusion’s story adds depth to Moncage This isn’t a game where you just solve random puzzles; there’s actually a story. Moncage has you following Optillusion’s award-winning story, and it’s all about a young boy, his father, and a lighthouse. As you solve puzzles, you’ll uncover more and more of the story; and it looks like it will be a deep one.
A new puzzle game is coming to PC and mobile platforms, and it’s likely to be a brain teaser. Moncage is a puzzle game by Optillusion that centres around a multi-dimensional cube. The plot revolves around a young child, his father, and a lighthouse. By adjusting your visual perspective, you’ll be able to solve riddles. You’ll be rotating this multi-dimensional cube throughout the majority of the game. A dynamic 3D scene will be displayed on each side of the cube. On one side, there could be an abandoned island, while on the other, there could be a construction site. You’ll see that things from two of the scenes will actually line up when you rotate the cube. When this occurs, they come together to produce a functional thing that propels forward.
As you complete puzzles, you’ll recover photos. Each photo will tell you more information about the boy and his father. You run the risk of getting stuck while playing Moncage, but don’t worry, Optillusion’s got you covered. There’s a helpful guidance system to help you if you get lost. The focus feature highlights the specific items that you need to interact with. There are hint texts that will give you additional information about items. These should give you just a bit more information and context than the focus feature. If you’re really in a pickle, and you don’t know what to do, then there will be video walkthroughs. These will be unlocked as you progress. These helpful items just might come in handy a few times.
If you’re interested in getting Moncage, then there are multiple options to play it. You can download it from Steam, for $14.99. If you want to play it on mobile, it’ll cost you $4.99 on the Google Play Store and the iOS store.
