Namco stops Xbox Game Pass on day one, according to Scarlet Nexus reports

Time for Microsoft to launch an Xbox Laptop

The game’s anime art style and world influences from anime and western science fiction, nail-biting, fast-paced combat, and the deep story-driven experience are sure to make a massive experience for all players, with the minds behind Tales of Vesperia working on the project.

Xbox Game Pass is no stranger to putting games on their service as day one titles, from their Gears titles to other games, such as Knockout City. However, not all games get to be so lucky, such as the case with Scarlet Nexus.

Is Scarlet Nexus Coming to Game Pass?
The newest Bandai Namco title, Scarlet Nexus, which comes out on June 25, tells the story of humanity and their fight for survival as mutants descend from the sky to collect human brains. The humans, on the other hand, won’t be going down without a fight. After finding out that all conventional weapons can’t stop their adversaries, they’ve decided to scout out the abilities of psionics, humans with extrasensory abilities, and carriers of a genome that allows them to use psychic powers. Players take control of one of these psychic users and fight for the human race to save the minds of the world.

Rumors started circulating that it would be put on Xbox Game Pass on day one to let players get their hands on it without having to buy the game from the store or a physical retailer. However, Bandai Namco quickly shot down any rumors that were made in a statement that was published. “We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited about its launch on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 25.”

Clarifying projects and what to expect from developers seems to be the norm this week, with Deep Silver pointing out that players shouldn’t hold out hope for any news regarding Dead Island, Saints Row, or Metro. As many players like to spread rumors online during the buildup to the wave of new announcements and news at E3, it’s only natural that rumors start spreading until they’re debunked during presentations.
