In 2020, NATO established a Pandemic Response Trust Fund that maintains a stockpile of medical equipment and supplies to be able to provide immediate relief to Allies or partners in need.
Health facilities in several Ukrainian districts, including Donetsky, Zaporizhsky, Nikolayevsky, Kharkivska, Khersonska Cherkassy and Chernivetska will benefit from the donation. The recent delivery is part of the overall assistance Allies are providing to Ukraine to address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, Ukraine received over 9,000 litres of disinfectant from NATO.
