NJIT Surges to No 86 Among National Universities in U.S News Rankings

According to the sourcethe New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has continued its rise in national rankings, with US News & World Report ranking NJIT 86th among national universities by 2024. This marks a significant jump of 11 places from the previous year.

Over the past four years, NJIT has consistently climbed up the rankings, moving from 118th to 103rd, then to 97th, and now securing the 86th spot. Lim expressed his satisfaction with this achievement and stated that it affirms their belief in providing a comprehensive education that combines classroom learning with real-world experiences. He emphasized their commitment to preparing graduates for valuable and impactful careers.

It is worth noting that US News revised its criteria this year to place greater emphasis on student outcomes. Factors like alumni donation percentages and high school class grades were eliminated, and instead, measures of graduation rates, earning potential compared to high school graduates, and median debt among graduates with federal loans were introduced.
