Nokia 9 PureView Images Leaked Ahead Of February 24 Launch Date

Nokia 9 PureView is still a few days away from the official debut that will be played in Barcelona on February 24th. But prior to its launch, the upcoming Nokia phone was leaked by a few live images. The camera settings of the Penta-lens of the new model have also surfaced on one of the online leaked images. The Nokia 9 PureView is said to be the flagship of the next generation of HMD Global. It is expected that the phone will be exhibited at MWC of 2020 next to the Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 1 Plus.

The newly created live images of the Nokia 9 PureView, courtesy of Nokia PowerUser, show both the metal structure and the glossy rear panel along with the arrangement of the Penta lens camera. The front panel of the leaked Nokia phone seems to have rounded edges. There is no display notch – matching the previously leaked renderings of the Nokia 9 PureView. Moreover, the edges on the top and bottom of the smartphone are almost identical thick, although the top edge has a selfie camera, earpiece and a range of sensors.

At the back, one of the leaked images shows the five camera sensors, along with an LED flash and a separate depth sensor in a circular design. The rear panel typically comes with a reflective finish – suggests the presence of a curved glass plate. It seems that the unit in the image may have a cover on top of the actual back of the smartphone to keep the Zeiss brand and the Android One entry.

If we see the past rumors, the Nokia 9 PureView will come with a 5.99-inch QHD PureDisplay panel with HDR10 support and a fingerprint sensor under the display. The smartphone can also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on board. Furthermore, it is expected that HMD Global offers functions such as support for wireless charging and some improved camera modes that are made possible by light.

Apart from the Nokia 9 PureView, the event on February 24 by HMD Global probably brings the Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 1 Plus. Although the Nokia 8.1 Plus was speculated with a dual rear camera and a 6.22-inch screen, the Nokia 1 Plus as a new Android Go model could be debuted by the company.

The arrival of the new Nokia models later this month is expected to make the competition harder for the next generation of Samsung and Sony phones that are likely to appear on MWC of 2020.
