Nvidia gets China govt’s nod to buy Mellanox, says all conditions satisfied

Chipmaker Nvidia Corp received approval from the Chinese competition authority on Thursday for the proposed $ 6.9 billion acquisition of Mellanox Technologies, saying that all the conditions for closing the deal are met.

The proposed deal received the green light from EU antitrust policy and Mexico in December, while the US authorities had already approved the deal without conditions.
