Oppo is working on a successor to its A73 smartphone, unsurprisingly called Oppo A74.
The device has model number CPH2219 and has been certified with multiple organizations including the FCC, Bureau of Indian Standards, TKDN in Indonesia, Eurasian Economic Commission, Wi-Fi Alliance, among others.
All offers gave us a sneak peek at the spec sheet. Multiple certifications have confirmed that the Oppo A74 will have Android 10 out of the box, likely with ColorOS 7 at the top. For example, thanks to the Chinese quality certification, we also learned that the new phone will have 33W fast charging, an update from the 30W for the Oppo A73 which is LTE only and the 18W for its 5G sibling.
Speaking of connectivity, the CPH2219 is likely a 4G smartphone as another device, model number CPH2197, is certified with 5G connectivity options and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Unlike the LTE version, this Oppo A74 has Android 11 with ColorOS 11 out of the box.
