Panasonic introduces new LCD televisions, both with and without Android

40 to 75 inches
Panasonic launched its first Android TVs last year and in 2021 it is moving Google’s TV platform up from the 7-series to the 8-series with JX800, also known as JX810 and JX820. Unlike Panasonic’s high-end TVs JX800 has Apple TV app and Disney+.

Android moves up to the 8-series but Panasonic still holds on to its own smart platform in the 9-series. Panasonic’s 2021 LCD TVs are now available in Europe.

Moving up to the JX850 series you get Panasonic’s My Home Screen platform, which offers features like PiP and In-House Streaming in addition to a handfuld of streaming apps. JX850 also supports Dolby Atmos.

JX940 (JX970 in white) is Panasonic’s most advanced LCD TV for 2021 and the company’s first with HDMI 2.1 ports.

Unlike some of its competitors, Panasonic has not equipped its top LCD TVs with full array local dimming or miniLED. If you want the best picture quality from Panasonic you should turn your attention towards the upgraded OLED line-up that will roll out in Europe very soon.

Panasonic’s 2021 LCD TVs are now available in most parts of Europe. More information can be found in the table. Panasonic 2021 LCD TVs – prices & dealers
