Panthers put linebacker Frankie Luvu on Reserve / COVID-19 list

Panthers put linebacker Frankie Luvu on Reserve / COVID-19 list

He suffered a foot injury during OTAs. He can be activated from the PUP list at any time. The Panthers also put safety Lano Hill on the active/physically unable to perform list.

Hill, who previously played for the Seahawks, was signed to provide secondary depth after he participated in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. Luvu was signed this offseason after spending his first three years with the Jets. Coaches liked the way he picked up things during the offseason program, and think he can add some depth there in addition to contributing on special teams.
