Safer Community – the smartphone app to be used in the spring semester with saliva-based COVID-19 tests – is available for download.

The app, available here for Apple users and here for Android users, is the easiest and best way to navigate the testing process. It allows users to schedule tests and will likely notify you of the results within 24 hours.

Chancellor Ronnie Green announced the testing program on January 11. As part of the new protocols, all students, instructors, and staff who are on campus during the spring semester must complete at least two saliva-based tests for the virus. To be on campus at the beginning of the semester, the first test must be completed with a negative result on January 25.

People who don’t have a smartphone can schedule tests and get results online.
