In addition to sourcing the ingredients for their coffees and pastries locally, Delgrosso said having equitable options for customers is important, too. Switchback Coffee Roasters has more affordable options for both their drip coffees and pastries, which are made in house. “By supporting a cafe like ours, you’ll end up supporting our roastery. We also support a variety of local, small businesses,” said Delgrosso. “One of the things about supporting a local, small business is you’re probably supporting dozens of other small businesses, as well.”
Switchback Coffee Roasters is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 909 E. Moreno Ave. and from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 330 N Institute Street. Owner Brad Delgrosso said supporting small businesses now is just as important as it was during the height of the COVID-19 outbreak.
